The Nightingale Awards are presented each year by Contract Magazine, The Center for Health Design, and Medquest Communications to recognize and promote innovative products that contribute to the quality of healthcare and forge new design directions. Entries are judged on the following criteria: contribution to the quality of healthcare, functionality; quality or durability; aesthetics or style; environmental sustainability; and pricing. This year’s awards were presented last week at Healthcare Design .04 in Houston, Texas.
